Today I had a flash of inspiration. I don’t have any addictions other than a vape. My fight in life has been aimed toward freedom. I realised when after doing my mission from the day, I were to stop vaping I would be truly free.
I managed to lose my vape today, so I replaced it, after getting a printout of my appointments for a year from my doctor’s receptionist. That should be enough for winz to pay for my doctor’s fees and prescriptions.
I’ve lived through the chaos of real addiction. You know the difference between dependence and a habit. You’re not fighting urges, you’re not negotiating with yourself, you’re not losing control. That contrast is powerful.
I’m not rushing anything. I want to give up vaping slowly, in my own time, without turning it into another fight. I’ve already lived through the hardest parts of addiction, and I know what real chaos feels like. This isn’t that. This is just the last small habit I’m choosing to unwind at a pace that feels safe and realistic.
Freedom, for me, has come in stages. I’ve earned every one of them. And when I’m ready, letting go of vaping will simply be the next step — not a battle, not a crisis, just a quiet decision toward the life I’ve been building.
